Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

Universal Yums updated this Privacy Policy on June 29, 2026. Shopify supplies the platform for our store, website, and related information, content, products, tools, features, and services, together the “Services.” The policy follows personal information generated by visits, use, purchases, other transactions, and communications. If the Terms of Service conflict on collection, processing, or disclosure, this privacy notice governs. By entering or using the Services, a visitor confirms having reviewed and understood it.

Categories of personal information

Data is personal information when it identifies an individual or is reasonably linkable to one; truly anonymous or effectively de-identified data falls outside the term. Subject to interaction, residence, permission, and legal requirements, we may process contact coordinates; names and billing or delivery addresses; phone and email; financial-account, credit/debit card, payment, confirmation, and transaction details; credentials, security prompts, choices, and settings; view, wishlist, cart, order, return, exchange, cancellation, and purchase history; correspondence; device, browser, connection, network, IP, and unique identifiers; Service-use patterns; and reasonable inferences.

Collection channels

Four channels supply personal information: a customer provides it in accounts, orders, use, visits, or messages; devices and Services create it automatically through cookies and similar technologies; contracted providers collect or process it while enabling technology or acting for us; and partners or other outside parties deliver it.

Purposes for processing

Information lets us carry out the transaction and experience requested—accounts, preferences, payments, fulfillment, shipment, notices, product interest, purchases, returns, exchanges, reviews, recommendations, and service improvement. We may also use it for promotional email, text, mail, and advertising informed by activity. Authentication and work against fraud, illegality, unsafe behavior, malicious activity, security threats, and risks to public safety protect commerce and systems. Other purposes are customer support and relationship messages, legal and regulatory compliance, valid process, discovery or litigation, and enforcement or investigation of policies and terms. Users remain responsible for keeping login and access details confidential.

When information is shared

Information can be shared with Shopify and operational vendors handling technology, payments, analytics, support, hosting, storage, fulfillment, or delivery; with marketing and business partners, including those supporting activity-based advertising under their own notices; with third parties the customer directs or consents to, such as shippers, social features, or login services; with affiliates; during merger, bankruptcy, or another corporate event; and in response to legal duties, subpoenas, search warrants, policy enforcement, safety needs, or defense of the Services and rights. Regional law may provide a targeted-advertising sharing opt-out.

Commerce platform processing

Because Shopify hosts this storefront, information about access, use, and customer submissions goes to Shopify and necessary service participants, including recipients in other countries. Some enhanced features use activity involving this store, other Shopify merchants, and Shopify to protect and improve commerce. Shopify controls that enhanced-feature processing and answers the applicable rights requests. Further explanations appear in Shopify's Consumer Privacy Policy and Privacy Portal.

Third-party destinations

Leaving the Services through a hyperlink places the user under the other operator's privacy, security, and contractual rules. We do not control or warrant outside content, accuracy, completeness, dependability, privacy, or security. Public and semi-public postings may remain available to other people and platforms without use limits. A displayed link alone is not an endorsement.

Information about minors

Children are not the intended users. We do not knowingly obtain personal information from an individual who has not reached the local age of majority. Parents and guardians may contact us to seek deletion. On the effective date we lack actual knowledge that information concerning anyone under 16 is “sold” or “shared” as applicable statutes define those terms.

Protection and storage period

Although safeguards are used, no system or transmission can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Do not send confidential or sensitive information through an insecure method. We keep information for differing periods based on account administration, delivery of Services, statutory duties, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements or policies.

Available privacy controls

Where law and residence provide them, rights can include access or knowledge, deletion, correction, a portable copy or transfer, and opting out of sale, sharing, or processing classified as targeted advertising. Restrictions and exceptions may apply, so a request is not always absolute. Where applicable, Global Privacy Control automatically signals an opt-out for the current device and browser and, when linkable, the relevant Shopify account. We do not act on other Do Not Track signals. Marketing email may be unsubscribed from, but transactional account and order notices can still be sent.

Request procedure

Use a control shown in the Services or the contact method below to make a request; visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en for Shopify-specific processing and rights. Exercising a right will not result in discrimination. We may verify identity as law permits or requires. A representative must prove authority, and direct verification with the individual may also be necessary. We respond within the legally required period.

Concerns

Contact us below with a concern about personal-information handling. Rights available in some places also permit an appeal of our response through those contact channels or a complaint to the applicable local data-protection regulator.

Transfers across borders

Processing, transfer, and storage can occur in a country other than the person's country of residence. For information exported from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we use recognized protections, including the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent contracts from the competent United Kingdom authority, unless an adequacy decision covers the destination.

Policy revisions

Operational, legal, regulatory, or practice changes may lead us to amend this policy. The new text and an updated “Last updated” date will be posted on the site, accompanied by any notice the law calls for.
